Dealer Rules

Unlike the Player, the Dealer, in a game of Blackjack has very few decisions to make, they have to deal the cards, following the rules indicated on the Blackjack table and then pay and remove winning and losing bets.

The only critical rule they have to follow is how they play their hand when it is worth 17 in total, they either have to Hit their hand or Stand such a hand, so a Dealers game is rather easy! Plus of course they have to know how much to payout a winning hand.

Below we have compiled a list of the most popular online Blackjack games from a variety of different software providers and have highlighted the different Dealer rules and payout's of that particular Blackjack variant.

Microgaming Dealer Rules
Atlantic City Blackjack - This game calls for the Dealer to Stand his hand on ALL 17's and a winning Player Blackjack will payout at odds of 3-2.

Bonus Blackjack - A Dealer will always Hit a Soft 17 in this game and a winning Player Blackjack will be rewarded at odds of 3-2.

Big 5 Blackjack - As in the above game when faced with a Soft 17 the Dealer will, in a game of Big 5 Blackjack always Hit that hand, and once again the standard payout of 3-2 is given to a player for getting a Blackjack hand.

Classic Blackjack - This is the best game in the Microgaming Blackjack games suite as it has a tiny house edge, and the Dealer will always Stand his hand on All 17's and a winning player Blackjack is paid out at odds of 3-2.

Rival Dealer Rules
Rival's Standard Blackjack - In this game the Dealer will always Hit a Soft 17 and the Player gets the usual odds of 3-2 for a winning Blackjack hand.

Rival's Multi Hand Blackjack - The rules on this Blackjack game are identical to the sister game above with a Dealer Hitting a Soft 17 and winning Player Blackjacks getting odds of 3-2.

Real Time Gaming Dealer Rules
Real Time Gaming's Super 21 - In this game a Player Blackjack always wins, even if faced with a Dealer Blackjack. A Player Blackjack is paid out at even money unless it is in the suit of Diamonds in which case the Players gets 2-1.

Real Time Gaming's European Blackjack - A Dealer will always Stand a Soft 17 in European Blackjack played at Real Time Gaming sites and you will be paid out at odds of 3-2 for a winning Blackjack hand.

Vegas Technology Dealer Rules
Vegas Technology's Vegas Strip Blackjack - In this popular Blackjack variant a Dealer will Stand ALL 17's and a winning Players Blackjack is paid out at odds of 3-2.

Vegas Technology's Perfect Pairs - Winning Player Blackjacks are rewarded at odds of 3-2 and the Dealer will always Stand his hand on ALL 17's Vegas Technology's Perfect Pairs Blackjack game.

Playtech Dealer Rules
Playtech's Blackjack Switch - A winning Player Blackjack is paid out at even money in Blackjack Switch and the Dealer must always Hit a Soft 17.

Playtech's Pontoon - A winning "Pontoon" hand pays out at odds of 2-1 and a Dealer must Hit a 16 or a Soft 17 and Stand his hand on a Hard 17.
