As the name of this Blackjack game suggests, there is an option for you to surrender your hand, by doing this half of your stake money is returned as compensation for giving up your hand and having it removed from play.

Blackjack Surrender Rules

Playtech's Surrender Blackjack game boasts a House Edge, when played with perfect strategy of 0.39%. When you play online the game uses 6 full decks of playing cards. Any hand the Dealer is dealt worth a Soft 17 or higher, he will Stand that hand.

A Hole Card is used in this Blackjack variant so the Dealer will check his down facing card to see if it is a Blackjack. Double Down a hand can be done by the Player when they have any hand Should a playing wish to Double Down a hand after the split then this can be done.

After Splitting a hand a Player cannot Re-split any of the new hands made, with reference to the Re-Splitting of Aces this move cannot be made. The option to Surrender a hand will be offered.

Be aware that when playing Real Time Gaming's Surrender Blackjack game the operator can set the number of decks in play themselves and as such this will effect the House Edge of this variant depending on how many decks are in play, therefore the house edge will be between 0.49% and 0.58%.

The number of decks in play in the shoe can be between 4 to 8 decks. When dealt a hand worth Soft 17 or higher the Dealer will Hit that hand. The RTG Blackjack game is a Hole Card game so the Dealer will check his hand to see if it is a Blackjack hand. All players can Double Down should they have been dealt any hand.

Doubling Down a hand after the split can be done. If a Player has Split two cards in any hand they cannot Re-split them, should this Split hand be a Pair of Aces then the Re-Splitting of Aces is not permitted Surrender ahand will be on this Blackjack game.
